Less fuel.: The HM460-6 is equipped with our next-generation Komatsu DBA127 engine, engineered to deliver high horsepower and torque for strong acceleration and sustained travel speeds on grade, even under full load. The two-stage turbocharger engine is designed to use 12% less fuel than the prior model.
• Traction you can trust: Ground conditions change quickly. The HM460-6 is designed to help operators adapt with confidence. The Komatsu Traction Control System works in combination with inter-axle and cross-axle differential locks for smooth, trouble-free hauling. The cross-axle differential lock can be manually engaged when need on slippery terrain.
• Productivity promoted: An all-new 9-speed transmission integrated with the DBA127 engine helps optimize power delivery across varying haul conditions. The expanded gear range makes acceleration smooth, cruising speed efficient, and gradeability responsive, while increasing fuel efficiency by up to 22%.
• Increased payload capacity: The HM460-6 has a redesigned high-strength steel body for durability in demand applications. It can handle heavy loads while maintaining balance and stability.
