The Genesis Subsea Shear is pressure-tested to operate at depths down to 10,000 feet for platform decommissioning, pipeline and piling cutting, and underwater steel cutting. 

Available with 32- or 46-inch jaw openings, this underwater cutting shear features a heavy-duty pivot design with sealed, greaseable pivot points, and the exclusive, easy-to-shim AutoGuide system helps maintain blade tolerances by off-setting jaw deflection.

For additional corrosion protection and functionality, this underwater pipe cutting shear features:

  • Anti-corrosion coated fasteners and critical surfaces, primer and paint
  • Zinc anodes for galvanic corrosion protection
  • Holes along the top and bottom of the shear body for easy water drainage
