Crane Inspection and Preventive Maintenance

Kirby-Smith offers crane inspections that satisfy all OSHA and ANSI requirements. With periodic crane inspections, you improve employee safety and avoid unplanned downtime and unexpected breakdowns. Kirby-Smith is certified to conduct annual crane and truck crane inspections. Kirby-Smith offers a preventive maintenance program that puts the burden of servicing your cranes on us. Just tell us which machines you’d like us to cover, and we’ll make sure they’re properly serviced on time by a qualified technician. Services are completed by a factory-trained technician and include approved fluids and filters, oil sample analysis, mobile lube services, technical inspections to identify repair needs, and a comprehensive visual inspection to spot potential problems before they require more costly repairs and cause lost production time. Crane Modernization Upgrades

Kirby-Smith offers several rebuild options for cranes, so you can schedule your machine’s downtime at a predetermined cost. We use OEM parts for all of our rebuild options to improve machine performance and to assure maximum component life. Modernization can be a cost-effective alternative to purchasing a new crane by extending the life of your current fleet.
