Oklahoma City, OK, August 22, 2016: Kirby-Smith Machinery is pleased to announce the hiring of Del Keffer as Vice President of Sales. Keffer will manage the direction of Kirby-Smith Machinery’s corporate sales and rental strategy to support organizational objectives as the company positions itself for further growth and development. His office will be located at Kirby-Smith’s Dallas branch. Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Jeff Weller, expects that Keffer will help Kirby-Smith continue to positively transform the experience of its customers.

Keffer comes to Kirby-Smith from Salt Lake City, where he served the past seven years as an executive in the over-the-road transportation industry but his four-decade journey through the heavy equipment and transportation business began with a position as a parts expediter in Tucson, AZ.  He has amassed a wealth of experience related to parts, sales, operations management, and executive management on both the manufacturing (10 years) and equipment dealer / equipment rental side of the industry (27 years). His experience has taken him across the United States, providing a perceptive understanding of equipment utilization across various jobsites, as well as a great passion for the meaningful interactions an effective dealer can employ to add value between the manufacturer and end user. Keffer believes in a process-driven management style that is both open and transparent. 

“My ultimate goal is to provide all Kirby-Smith clients with a family relationship which they can depend upon in good times as well as lean times, focusing on customer need tomorrow by looking forward together today,” said Keffer.
